Terms of use

Service provider

Cloud Horizons is operated by Spot Cloud B.V., registered in the Netherlands with KvK number 89708873. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@spot-suite.com.

Agreement

These terms apply to the Cloud Horizons website, free tools, free audit, customer pilot, app, APIs, Marketplace activation flow, and related support channels. If a signed order form, marketplace agreement, or enterprise agreement applies, that document controls where it conflicts with these terms.

Free tools

Cost calculators provide estimates based on public pricing logic and user inputs. Always validate final numbers against your provider bill, committed-use contracts, discounts, taxes, and region-specific pricing.

Tool output is informational. A calculator result should be treated as a triage signal for FinOps review, not as accounting advice, procurement approval, tax guidance, or a guaranteed cloud bill reduction.

Free audit

The free audit is a discovery workflow. It does not create a managed-service contract or guarantee savings. Paid work requires a separate agreement.

If an audit moves forward, the scope should name the cloud accounts, provider portals, data exports, expected deliverables, security boundaries, owner, and decision date.

Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of submitted information, cloud access approvals, billing export permissions, account users, API keys, and any decisions made from reports or calculator output. You must have the right to share the cloud billing, inventory, tag, and usage context you connect or submit.

Access model

The default setup is read-only. Cloud Horizons should not receive write access, production secrets, private keys, or workload customer data through public forms. If a paid engagement includes remediation support, any write access must be separately approved and scoped.

Marketplace and billing previews

Marketplace, checkout, and billing-readiness pages can change. A paid subscription starts only after the selected provider flow, invoice, marketplace order, or written contract is accepted. Marketplace activation may require buyer identity verification, tenant details, subscription details, and entitlement checks before workspace access is provisioned.

Billing, taxes, and cancellation

Prices are shown before taxes unless stated otherwise. Marketplace purchases may also be governed by the marketplace terms, billing cadence, tax handling, refund process, and cancellation process for the selected offer. Direct paid subscriptions are governed by the accepted order form, invoice, or checkout terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use Cloud Horizons to access cloud accounts without authorization, disrupt the service, evade rate limits, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, submit secrets through public forms, or use the service for unlawful activity.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or limit access if an account creates security risk, violates these terms, fails payment, or uses the service in a way that could harm Cloud Horizons, other customers, or third parties. You may stop using the service and request export or deletion as described in the privacy notes.

Product scope

Cloud Horizons is live for free audits, customer pilots, public tools, and assisted onboarding. Features, pricing, and scope continue to evolve. Azure Marketplace public go-live remains gated on Partner Center preview purchase evidence and customer proof.

Data and privacy

The privacy notes explain what data we collect and how we use it. Do not submit secrets, access keys, production credentials, private keys, or customer workload data through public forms.

Intellectual property and feedback

You keep your data, configurations, and submitted cloud context. Spot Cloud B.V. keeps the Cloud Horizons service, software, documentation, names, logos, and product improvements. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the service without owing compensation.

Warranties and liability

Cloud Horizons is provided with reasonable care, but calculator output, audit findings, forecasts, and recommendations are not guaranteed savings, accounting advice, tax advice, procurement approval, or outage prevention. To the extent allowed by law, implied warranties are excluded and liability is limited to the amount paid for Cloud Horizons during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, unless mandatory local law says otherwise. Courts in the Netherlands have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you another forum.
